I knocked this up today pretty much as per Jody's plans but using the seat off a broken office chair so I don't have to use any of Jody's stool softener... Nothing to right home about but it works great and heaps better than what I had before (broken office chair).

nice job. if you're not comfortable you can't do decent work. one suggestion if i may? wheels. nothing will fatigue you more than having to get up from a sitting position numerous times during the day. i'm doing a job right now welding anchor lugs to many,many beds and the wheels on my welding stool are saving my knees. and back!

OK I take your suggestion, thanks. Here it is as upgraded with wheels. It could be unstable if skylarking, but for normal use it it works fine.
