What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

this is a wall mounted soap dispenser i built a few months ago. it's made from 1 1/2 in angle iron with two center opening doors made from 1 in by 1/4 flat. the opening in the center is for the controls. the dispensing hoses are routed through the bottom.

I don't know how you do it.

I'd think, after a while, building "people cages" and all the accessories would get to me.

I know we need them... There are many people who belong in cages, but I wouldn't want to be reminded of that fact every time I punch in!

building cages is only a very small part of what i do. for example last nite i was welding lugs onto beds to anchor them to the floor due to a suicide we had last weekend and today i was building a heavy "H" beam bumper for the roll off compactor pad. on monday i'll be working in one of the mechanical equipment rooms welding a leaking condensate line for the steamfitters. there is enough work to keep a squad of welder's busy for years!
