it is... unfortunately lol. Too many people, not enough room.
I hear that. Friend of mine says housing prices have doubled over the past couple of years.

Holy smokes!! On the bright side, that may explain the smoker you are building...people gotta eat...even if they can't afford rent, they love that BBQ
How is housing construction going? Building? It sure sounds like a seller's market.

Yup, you can sleep in a vehicle. But you can't not eat.
I love the smoker. Do you have any ideas on where to source the pipe?
I'm on the east coast - and can't seem to find it anywhere.
Looks like a great build!

Thanks! Are you asking about the barrels or the stack?
The barrels are 5/16” plate rolled and welded seam. The stack was just 6” x 1/4” pipe. All was purchased and rolled from a local metal supplier. Had to use a forklift to lift the barrels [emoji1787]
The barrels. I don't have anyone around here that does plate rolling - well - I do but they are hours and hours away... Just didn't know if there was an easier place to find it.

For commercial sized smokers, propane tanks are a great way to go.
I just picked up a 40 gallon water heater for my own smoker, but I plan on putting it on a small, roadable trailer using an old trailer that has been taken down to the axel and side beams.
