Hello, I look forward to digesting all the good information on this board. I am retired military and police, live in Arkansas. I am going through airframe on my way to getting my A&P, (aircraft mechanic) we just got through the chapter on welding, and I thought TIG was pretty fascinating. I welded a little as a teenager, gates, corrals pipe fence. That was all stick. Then got away from it for 30 years. Now I'm seeing TIG and Plasma and it's really interesting to me. My interest is in TIG AL and plasma cutting signs and some projects, just to keep me occupied.
