Hi, everyone. I recently found the podcast “Welding tips and tricks” which has led me to this forum. I’m only about 20 episodes in but I have been so inspired and have learned a lot from Jody, Roy and Jonathan already. I’m looking forward to continue to learn and hopefully eventually be able to contribute in this forum. I consider myself a beginner even though I’m not new to welding. My dad taught me how to stick weld when I was young but after high school, life happened and I haven’t done any welding until about a year ago. I’m 51 one now so it’s been a long time. I understand the basics of stick welding but there’s still a lot I need to learn and practice. I have a titanium unlimited 200 multiprocess welder. I do want to learn how to mig weld and tig weld. Anyway, just glad to be here.

Welcome! Become very practiced with Stick, then TIG before you switch to MIG. Learning to read the puddle with stick or TIG will make MIG more successful.

Thank you. I have been wondering which would be best to learn first after getting more proficient with stick.
