Hello i'm using a solid top welding table and have been looking at the ready made fixture table options. I dont really have room for an additional table so thinking about a fixture plate or a table top plate that I can put on top of my current table when I need hold down options. I like the looks of the Crummy fixture plate although something a little larger would be ideal. Are the crummy's still available or in production? His instagam page is gone....

Not sure. I’ve made a few for myself from 1” aluminum and I made one for another forum member about 2.5 years ago.

You could investigate a service like Send-Cut-Send to see if they’d make one for you. You basically send them a detailed drawing, specify the material, and them machine/produce it for you then ship it to you.

2” centers with 1/4-20 taps would be my recommendation unless you want a fairly large piece to hold down larger work (these specs work well for 18”x18” plates).

You could also rent a mag drill, get a 5/8” annular cutter, mark out your table, and drill it up for yourself. It’s just a bit of time, not much money, and you can set any spacing or pattern your heart desires. I made my fixture table 48x72x.750 and drilled 2” spaced holes. Took a little while, but it has lasted me over 8 years already and shows no sign of let-up.

looks like crummies web page is also gone. i guess he may have quit his business.

however any decent machine shop should be able to make one.
