Advice on small bore carbon pipe
Hey guys There's a few companies in my area that do 1/2 schedule 40 carbon pipe as one of their tests. Along with 2 and depending on the company 3 or 6. The smallest I've done is 2" schedule 40 carbon and Schedule 10 stainless and I'm pretty comfortable with that size and up. But 1/2 schedule 4...

Re: TIG sleeve twist
You could try to build up the Inner section with some tape or some silicon tube sliced in half or the right size o-ring to give it a tighter fit.
You might need the tiniest bit of dish soap to get it on but once it dries it should be a pretty solid fit.

Re: Tig torch QQ 150
As far as I can tell this is a tig torch based off an old style MK2A which is an air cooled 150amp torch that doesn't take any of the standard 9,17,26 etc consumables. We have them in welding school they're ancient, big and awkward as hell to use. They also have no gas lens. The main benefit of thi...

Re: Whip and pause with 6013s?
I know this is an old thread, but some info from Euroland, Ireland specifically. In my pipe welding course for part of the 6inch schedule 80 we used 6011 root and 6013 fill and cap all on DCEN. We also did 7018 fill and caps Tig roots. Our first process in pipe welding school was the 6" 6011 an...

Re: Optrel Panoramaxx CLT welding helmet, with Isofit headgear
The Main thing holding me back from buying one of this is the fact you can't replace the battery. Their own manual says 300 to 500 Charge cycles Thats 2 to 4 years depending on use. Another negative is they use MicroUSB which is a pretty fragile connector, I'd expect USB C (Infact Fronius Branded ve...

Re: Help, need feed back on a HTP invertig 221 tig welder
Miller pedals are available in both 7-pin and 14-pin configurations. I won't promise you that either the seven-pin is compatible, though it likely is, or that the resistance of the potentiometer is correct for the machine. Miller uses a 1Kohm pot. Some imported machines use a 5K, 10K, or even a 23K...

Re: Help, need feed back on a HTP invertig 221 tig welder
Ok thanks. Doesn't sound like it would be compatible with a miller pedal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Miller pedals are available in both 7-pin and 14-pin configurations.
